Police say the man is bald and in his 30s
Police in Dartmouth are warning about a man with a firearm in the Gaston Road area of Dartmouth.
An emergency alert was issued shortly before 10:30 a.m. Tuesday morning, warning residents in the area to shelter in place.
The alert said the man is believed to be armed and dangerous.
Police are still on the scene and are releasing the suspect's name and photo.
